50hr Pranayama YACEP

x5 weekends of live study | Join the waitlist

Saturday & Sunday 930am-230pm UK

Across 5 weekends of study, this training will support teachers looking to deepen their relationship with and to prana through an embodied exploration of the practices and teachings that lead us towards its promise.

The course includes study of the rich philosophical backdrop, alongside the practices that help to bring it all alive, with tips and tools for teaching effectively and safely so that you can expand both your personal practice as well as the way that you share.

You will be asked to :

Dedicate time everyday to some self-practice (your practice IS the teacher)

Have x1 peer practice meet up session each month following the weekend study so you can already start refining and exploring your teaching practice.

Be invited to join x1 live Q&A evening session per month (this is totally optional and simply there as additional support to nurture your experience).

Be asked to do case studies during the integration phase (Jan & Dec) where we take time off live weekend study.

Asked to prepare x1 assignment to be taught live in our final weekend that will be taught to one half of the group with Hannah/ Chrissie observing.

This is practice as conversation

Practice as intimacy

Practice as the felt feedback that you learn to trust

"I completed the Foundations of Breath course with Chrissie and Hannah.

We studied over 6 Saturday mornings online;  it felt like everyone could have been in the room with me as the welcome and atmosphere was warm and friendly;  a truly beautiful way to start a weekend.

Learning all about breath and the importance and impact of breath on our practice and daily lives has been so rewarding;  I am truly beginning to understand why pranayama is a limb of Yoga.

I found the delivery of the course so interesting,  informative and inspiring.  I will take the knowledge forward into my classes and have already incorporated it into my daily life;  which is having a direct affect on my health and wellbeing.

Thank you both;  and thank you to the fellow students for making it such a valuable experience."

OUR ETHOS

We value curiosity at Be Nourished, and our approach is one of nurturing that, holding safe, non-dogmatic spaces that support you in going deeper, exploring the fruits of your own practice as the ultimate teacher.

Everything we offer is from the intimacy of our own embodied experience of practice; the tools, concepts and philosophical backdrops that have enriched our lives in a particular way, that we feel inspired to share with you that it might enrich yours.

We're incredibly lucky to study under incredible teachers and from rich lineages that carry living wisdom that has been passed from teacher to student for years upon years. Our aim is to share what we have been so generously gifted, wholeheartedly and with the same care, attention and nurturance that we have received through our teachers.

Things that are important to us when it comes to practice & study:

  • Understanding the "why" behind what you're doing so that you build understanding and true agency when it comes to your practice.

  • Meeting depth through embodiment - knowledge becomes wisdom when it is felt through the body. This isn't about memorising techniques and ideas, it is about experiencing them.

  • Nourishment - studying and practicing in a way that fills you up rather than depletes. We move at a steady space that values integration and aims to reduce the tendency for overwhelm that can happen in these spaces.

  • 1:1 Mentorship -  you will be held and supported as you find what resonates and lights you up within this particular realm of study.

"I completed the Foundations of Breath 2025 course with Chrissie and Hannah, a six-week programme of 90-minute sessions every Saturday. It was truly an amazing experience. Chrissie and Hannah’s knowledge of breathwork is vast, and just as importantly, they deliver the material in a way that feels real, open, and honest.

I love the way they teach, creating a space where every student feels completely at ease and comfortable enough to fully immerse themselves in the learning. I came away from the course feeling more confident and equipped with many new skills, which I will not only take forward into my own practice but also bring into my classes.

I would absolutely recommend this course to anyone wanting to deepen their understanding of breathwork, and I have no doubt that Chrissie and Hannah will continue to offer courses that I would be very interested in attending in the future. Thank you again!"
